  • 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • R&D Lecture Hall

Registration

Speaker: Peggy Watson, Director, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, University of Richmond and Celeste Miller, an Osher Member/Leader

Topic:  “It’s Never Too Late to Learn Something New” Peggy and Celeste will explain how The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Richmond offers an extensive array of liberal arts educational programs and activities within a vibrant community of like-minded students, age 50 and older. There are no tests and no grades, but a love of learning is required! Come see why Peggy believes “curiosity never retires”.

The Volunteer Services Committee is collecting donations of travel/individual size hygiene products to be donated to the Carol Adams Foundation (our January speaker). See our website for details. Bring them to this month’s meeting or consider a monetary donation

Notes: Please feel free to invite a retiree friend who hasn’t attended a meeting in a while or has never attended. They will need a government issued picture ID to obtain entry to the property. If they arrive in your car, they do not need to be on the Security List, but if they are driving separately, please ask them to sign up on the website or send us an email at www.retireesconnection.org no later than noon on the Thursday before the meeting to be added to the Security List.

Doors to the cafeteria open at 10:00 a.m. for fellowship and light refreshments.  The meeting starts promptly at 11:00 a.m.

If you are not already a member of the Retirees Association, please consider joining.  Choose the JOIN tab on the home page of the website or click here:  New Member Application
