The "Retirees Association for Retired PM USA and Altria Employees" is an association of Philip Morris USA (PM USA) and Altria retired employees. It is an independent organization that is not affiliated with or endorsed by PM USA or Altria.
The Retirees Association was formed in 1982 for the retired employees of Philip Morris U.S.A. In keeping with the long tradition by PM USA employees of supporting charitable organizations, the Retirees Association started and continues to support organizations such as the Salvation Army Shoe Fund and various Christmas Mother programs. The name of the association was changed in 2008 to the "Retirees Association for Retired PM USA and Altria Employees." It is open to all Philip Morris USA and Altria retirees who pay the modest annual membership fee, currently $20.
